Ball State vs Iowa NCAA College Football Live Scores and TV Coverage. Another weekend of NCAA football action awaits us. The Iowa Hawkeyes will try to be back in contention as they host Ball State in one of the marked games in the NCAA College Football at 12:00 PM ET at the Kinnich Stadium. The Hawkeyes dropped a game last week to the surprise of many against Arizona.
It was a tough game for Iowa as they tried to rally from 20 point halftime deficit just to tie the game but they failed in a 34-27 defeat. Because of that, the Hawkeyes are now
18th in the rankings. Compounding the loss was the news that backup tailback Jewel Hampton will likely be out for the season due to knee surgery. Hampton, who missed all of last season after tearing the ACL in his right knee, was splitting carries with starter Adam Robinson. Can they bounce back?
Iowa's defense was not at its best last week when they allowed the Wildcats in a nine play 72 yard winning touchdown. Defensively, they have to a better team. Also the special team must play on a high level for last week they gave up 85-yard interception return, a 100-yard kickoff return and a short touchdown pass following a blocked punt that gave the Wildcats a first down on the Iowa 8-yard line.
Ball State will have a hard time playing this hungry Hawkeyes but they can pull off an upset. If you want to follow Ball State vs Iowa Live Scores NCAA College Football September 25, 2010 game, it is available on Big Ten Channel. Which team will win?
