In UFC 94, Georges St. Pierre proved to one and all that he is better and stronger than BJ Penn today as he vanquished his foe after the end of round 4. Many were looking forward to this UFC 94 fight but they were disappointed, just like this author. BJ Penn was overpowered by his bigger rival and just didn't have what it takes to win this one. It was a disappointment for fans who were expecting a hard fight for the title. Georges St. Pierre was so dominant in this UFC 94 fight that sports analysts couldn't help but rave. In the words of Yahoo sports columnist Dave Meltzer, "Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre scored a one-sided win in what may have been the closest thing to a true
“ultimate fight” in the history of a promotion with that name."

Though GSP was the bigger man and the favorite to win the title, many were still expecting a hard fight since both are the best in their class - Georges St. Pierre in the welterweight division and BJ Penn in the lightweight division. And both are in the peak of their careers. When these two met at UFC 58 three years ago, GSP struggled to beat BJ Penn and many were expecting more of the same this time. However, it was stunning how the fight turned out.
