The drama at Seattle Grace continues as Grey's Anatomy season 5 episode 12 / Grey's Anatomy 5.12 s05e12 "Sympathy for the Devil" unfolds next week. The presence of death row patient, played by Eric Stoltz, continues to sow different emotions among the doctors and interns at Seattle Grace, specifically among Meredith, Cristina and Derek. While Dr. Grey thinks that the patient is still deserves compassion, Derek puts his prejudice for the man who has taken a number of human lives. Meanwhile, the inmate has decided to donate his organs to Dr. Bailey's patient. Will this affect how the others doctors see him? BTW, Eric Stoltz was interviewed by TV Guide about his character and this was what he had to say: "When someone on death row is brought to a hospital, doctors are confronted with their own ethical code. 'Is it right to save the life of someone who has done so much bad in the world?' 'What is a doctor's job and how should one respond to this situation?' It presents a lot of interesting, rich things for all these talented actors to play with."
