I didn't see many Barack Obama look-alikes in the press throughout the campaign, nor have I seen them since the election. However, expect some of these look-alikes to surface after the inauguration, most especially after "honeymoon period" in office is over. That would be after about one hundred days or so when the problems start coming in (Hope it's not sooner than than.)

Why all the interest in these look-alikes? Well, for one, they're good entertainment. Television shows, comedies most specially, use them to poke fun at the original. In the case of George W. Bush, his look-alike must have made a killing because of all the blunders the original did. But then
again, if the original is hilarious enough why need a look-alike? He he. With Barack Obama's case, none of that sort is needed, yet. But nobody's perfect and I'm sure the media will have good use of his look-alikes in the future. (BTW, in case you're wondering, the photo on the right is the real Obama. The look-alike is the one at the bottom of this post.)

Something just crossed my mind. Does the Secret Service employ look-alikes as security decoys? Hmm. That's one good use for them.

I first saw this newest Barack Obam look-alike at my friend Alex's retardednotebookdotcom yesterday. Then this morning, I received it as an email attachment from a former colleague and decided to share it with you. The guy really bears a striking resemblance to Barack Obama, don't you think? And it would even be better it he gained a few more pounds. I asked Alex if the guy is Pinoy but he said he heard he's Indonesian. Oh well, I'm sure there's a Pinoy Obama out there just waiting to be discovered.
