Are you looking for new MySpace 2.0 layouts, also known as MySpace 2.0 backgrounds or MySpace 2.0 themes, to dress up your desktop? Well, so is everybody else (including myself, he he). These will be one of the hottest items in the coming weeks because MySpace Profile 2.0 has just been launched earlier today. According to their announcement, the new MySpace 2.0 Profile will let users drag and drop modules wherever they want, and even choose which specific parts of their profile to show to to friends. Neat huh? That gives the user more freedom in setting up their profile page than the previous version. But don't worry, if you're like many MySpace users who aren't that particular about their profile page, you'll be glad to know that the MySpace 2.0 profile update is optional.

For the majority of MySapce users, however, this update is welcome news. And for sure, demand for new MySpace 2.0 layouts will be high, especially in the coming weeks. They may
be in development as we speak and the first issues will be coming out in the next few days. As usual, demand will be high for anime layouts and sports layouts, as well as abstract and artistic ones for the the many who have more discerning tastes. Not to be outdone will be the MySpace 2.0 layout designs of celebrities, movies and TV, music and the holidays. I'm sure MySapce 2.0 Christmas layouts will be coming out soon. And with the elections just over and a new administration coming in, several US and Obama themed MySpace 2.0 layouts will also be in high demand.

I tried visiting free layout sites but no sign of any new layouts yet. There hasn't even been any mention of the MySapce 2.0 profile update yet. He he. I can't wait to see what these guys will come up with. For now, all I (we) can do is wait. Rest assured, however, that I will immediately change my theme once I find the MySapce 2.0 layout of my choice (I may also post some links here). Though I haven't really been active in MySpace recently, I still want my page to look good. He he. Today we launched Profile 2.0. The new profile is optional and you can go back to your old profile if you don’t like 2.0. Profile 2.0 lets you hide specific profile modules (like comments or friends), lets you drag and drop modules wherever you want, and you can even choose to show parts of your profile to specific friend categories. For those who prefer the simplicity of one-click themes over advanced customization, we’ve created over 50 profile styles to choose from including Transporter 3, Punisher War Zone, and The Spirit.
