Here's the latest news about Charice Pempengco, together with a video of her performance. Dubbed as the 'little girl with and big voice' and 'the YouTube sensation', she's again the toast of YouTube with the latest videos of her television performance hitting the web. Charice appeared with David Foster on Good Morning America (GMA) two days ago promoting the CD and DVD of the Las Vegas tribute concert to the famed composer several months ago. Singing a medley of Foster's songs, she again wowed the studio audience.

David Foster made one of Charice's dreams come true with the release of the CD and DVD. Entitled "Hitman: David Foster and Friends", it includes the young Filipina belter's performance in the concert together with her idols.

"She reminds me of Celine when I saw her singing in a tent when she was 18," said David Foster. "I told Celine that she would sing with Barbra Streisand. And I told Charice she would sing with Celine, and it has all come true."

Charice Pempengco's dreams are indeed coming true with the help of generous celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, who paved the way for her entry into American television, Oprah Winfrey, who rediscovered her and introduced her to David Foster, and David, who has mentored her ever since witnessing Charice Pempengco's performance in that all-star tribute. Included in this list are her idols, Celine Dion, who invited Charice to do a duet in a sold-out Madison Square Garden concert several weeks back, and Andrea Bocelli, who performed with the diminutive 16 year-old in Italy.

And Charice has not disappointed any of them since. She has continuously proved that she can sing with the best, belting out power ballads to the delight of audiences. Hopefully, she will continue to shine with the help of her mentors, towards becoming an international sensation.
