Anime junkies can't get enough of Inuyasha, and my niece Monica is one of them, scouring video shops for the latest DVDs of her favorite hero, and the net for updates on available video episodes online. It was only recently that I discovered an almost complete compilation of
Inuyasha (and Kagome) online episodes for viewing and/or download and I was happy to tell her about it. The following is the said list for others like her.

The story of Inuyasha begins in feudal Japan, where our hero steals the Jewel of Four Souls, an item that can increase one's powers enormously, from a village. He doesn't get far, however, as Kikyo, the village priestess, stops him. Kikyo, fearing that the jewel might fall into evil hands, seals Inuyasha into eternal sleep inside a sacred tree. After being mortally wounded, Kikyo tells her younger sister, Kaede, to burn the jewel with her body to prevent it from falling into the hands of evil.

In modern Tokyo, Kagome wanders near the Bone Eaters Well while looking for her cat. A centipede demon drags her down the well into magical feudal Japan where she finds Inuyasha still sealed in the tree. Recognizing she is the reincarnation of her sister Kikyo, Kaede tells her of the story of Kikyo and Inuyasha. To defeat the demon centipede, Kagome releases Inuyasha from his sleep. But succeeding battles with other demons seeking the Jewel shatters it into numerous shards across Japan. Thus begins the adventures of Inuyasha and Kagome to recover the lost shards.
