If there is one song that cemented my appreciation for Kanye West's music & rap lyrics, it's 'Stronger'. Before this song was released I almost didn't care about Kanye West, his songs,
and rap music in general. Sure, I found some of his songs cool, sometimes even sexy, and I grooved to its beat whenever I heard in on the radio but I was never a fan. However, all that changed when I heard 'Stronger'! There is something about its lively beat and lyrics that got me, and ever since I have been a follower of Kanye West and his music - something surprising for a guy who grew up with standards, ballads and pop.

"Stronger" was the second single from Kanye West's Graduation album. It was first released digitally on July 31, 2007 and was an instant hit. "Stronger" features a prominent sample from the song "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by the French house music duo Daft Punk, who received songwriter credit and had their costumes appear in the music video.
'Stronger' eventually captured the top of the charts and won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 50th Grammy Awards.
