This is a compilation of the many episodes of the said blockbuster anime that has captured the imagination not only of kids but young adults as well - the continuing saga of Naruto Uzumaki.
Why do I have such a compilation in an obviously non-anime site? Well, to please younger memebrs of the family who are Naruto freaks. Yup, they have been addicted to the series for
many years. In fact, I remember doing a post some months back about an anime costume convention that my nieces and nephews attended in which they came dressed in their favorite anime characters. Now I don't even have to tell you what costume they chose, do I? Yup, Naruto of course! But does this Naruto exposure of mine mean that I am knowledgeable on the subject? Nope. Almost zero. In fact, I only found out about the difference between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden (Shippuuden) right before making this post (to the ridicule of my nephew!). I thought all along that they were one and the same. Turns out that Naruto is the original series when our hero was a young boy while Naruto Shippuuden (Shippuden, Shipuden, whatever!) is the sequel and set in Naruto's adolescence.
Naruto Shippūden (ナルト 疾風伝, Naruto: Shippūden? lit. Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles) is the ongoing sequel to the original Naruto anime and covers the Naruto manga from volume twenty-eight on. After training for two and a half years with Jiraiya, Naruto returns to Konohagakure, reunites with the friends he left behind, and reforms Team 7, now called Team Kakashi, with Sai replacing Sasuke. All of Naruto's classmates have matured and improved in the ranks, some more than others. Unlike the original series where they only played a minor role, the Akatsuki organization takes on the main antagonistic role in their attempts at world domination.
It's really quite a big hit around the world. The TV adaptation of Naruto Shippuden made its debut in Japan on February 15, 2007 on TV Tokyo, and in the Philippines on January 28, 2008 on ABS-CBN. ABS-CBN is the first international TV network (i.e. TV network outside Japan) to broadcast Naruto Shippuden (Shippuuden, Shipuden). Since it's not readily available in other parts of the world yet, you can just imagine the demand for Naruto Shippuden episodes for download hence this post.
