McCain VP Sarah Palin's sportscaster days (VIDEO)

As the two opposing teams in the US presidential campaign start their battle for the White House, expect news and tidbits like this one, dug deep from a candidate's past.

Sarah Palin, Alaska Governor and John McCain's VP choice was once a sportscaster as revealed from the following video. Reportedly as former beauty queen as well, she used to dish out the latest news from the world of sports, showing off her play-by-play skills by anchoring an Alaska news report on the Iditarod, college basketball and baseball during the evening news.

Sporting a big, fluffy coif akin to the times (oh, how I remember Mom's big hair days!), who
would have thought that this 24-year old, wide-eyed brunette would someday be governor of Alaska, much less run for vice president of the United States under the Republican ticket.
