I couldn't believe it at first, but after some internet sleuthing I think I found a Pinoy invention / inventor that will grab the head lines in the days to come. What prompted this was a post I made several weeks ago about a water-powered car.

His name is Daniel Dingel (aka Daniel Dingle), a Pinoy inventor who has invented a water powered car as early as thirty years ago! Yes, that's right, it was thirty years ago and he has been using and constantly improving his invention since then. But why has this invention been a "secret" all this time? Well, based on some articles I have read, Daniel Dingel (aka Daniel Dingle) offered his water powered car technology to the local science and technology authorities many years ago but he was turned down, even calling it a hoax. But, unperturbed, Daniel Dingel continuously improved his water-powered car technology to what it is today, ready for mass production to fight the oil
crisis were are facing.

I have just been informed through a comment (below) that his real name is Daniel Dingel and not Daniel Dingle as popularly known. In fact, he already has a website at danieldingel.com

But wait, I know what you're thinking. From the photo above, it looks just like an ordinary car, a Toyota in fact. And you're right, that is an ordinary Toyota Corolla. Mr. Dingel (aka Dingle) didn't actually build a new car like what Japan's Genepax did with their water-powered car, he just converted his own car to run on water. Isn't it much simpler?

Actually, my internet research was prompted by a comment of Meeya in my earlier watered-powered car post. She said a Pinoy has also come up with a similar invention many years ago and she even met the guy. Is this what you were talking about, Meeya? Is Mr. Daniel Dingel (aka Daniel Dingle) the inventor you met?

I even found this video on YouTube which was posted two years ago. This just goes to show how we have neglected Mr. Daniel Dingel's water powered car invention.

I also found a Daniel Dingel Foundation site which has been "set up as a strategic alliance partnership between Ethos World GmbH Schweiz and Daniel Dingel, the Filipino Inventor, to commercially develop his inventions and to promote their benefits so that everyone in the world can gain from their unique properties. The Dingel Foundation's mission is to raise money through the sale of Daniel's products so that he can use the funds to help improve the lives of his fellow Filipino people". Does this mean that Mr. Dingle has now found a partner to develop and market his water-powered car technology worldwide after being shunned as a hoax by local authorities?

I only hope for the best for this invention, not only for Daniel Dingel's sake and vindication but more so for the rest of the world who will benefit from this water powered car technology. I hope this means that OPEC's greedy days are numbered!
