Welcome!

BlogUpp: a new way to advertise, FREE

blogupp, blog, taffic, free blog ad, exchange ads, I just found a new advertising tool for my blog and, best of all, it's free! It's BlogUpp, the newest, easiest and hopefully most effective link and banner exchange in the blogosphere today. It's right there on my sidebar.

Unlike most advertising and banner exchange schemes found on the internet, it's very easy to use BlogUpp. No registration is required. No email and ad submission either. All you have to do is to go to their site and key in your blog's URL. Afterwhich, a code that you can easily paste on your sidebar, or anywhere else on your site, will be generated. That's all. I told you it was easy.

BlogUpp works by creating snapshots of the different participating sites, reading their RSS feeds and then generating the necessary thumbnail to post in their banner exchange. All of
these are done automatically so no action is required from the site owner. Moreover, thumbnails are accompanied by the site's most recent article, revealed to the reader once he hovers his cursor over it. Ingenious huh? For every 10 readers of your blog, it is shown to 9 readers on other blogs. So the more readers your site gets, the more exposure this will generate.

I've been seeing a lot of it the past week but only had the chance to read up this afternoon. It's just like Entrecard but without the work of dropping cards daily, or Spott but without the requirement on where to place it. Of course, if you want to maximize exposure, it should be placed on the top half of your page, where it can be readily seen by readers. I discarded Blogrush to make way for this. After all, it has been disappointing, occupying precious space on my sidebar with no traffic contribution to speak of. Hopefully, BlogUpp will be different.
