LONG AGO. this photo is an old one, taken a long time ago (can’t tell you how long as this will reveal my age. he he). do I have to tell you who that cute little boy is? that’s me of course, together with my cousin ate beck, holding the tray with a jeweled (?) crown. it was at our hometown’s grand ball when I was five or six, and a new queen was going to be crowned. this was taken as we were walking towards the stage where the ceremony was to take place. I really don’t remember much about this event so I cannot tell you more. but I’m sure our parents do. they must have fussed over us endlessly as we were getting ready for the affair, specially on ate beck who looked so regal in her white gown. parents do have a way of getting overly excited about their children's affairs, sometimes even more excited than the child itself.
