I was up until late last night trying to fix my blog. I was in panic, sort of. I received an text message from a friend subscribed to my posts that my feeds weren’t working. huh? my non-stop fiddling with the template must have done the damage! unbelieving, I checked as if I knew how! I had to fix this or else lose the few meager subscribers that I have. kawawa naman blog ko. yagit na nga, mawawalan pa! my little knowledge of the basics about feeds weren’t enough. clicked on a few resource blogs around the net and followed their instructions. what am I doing? I thought. this may end up crashing my site altogether. but I was persistent, never say die.
finally after a few trials and more errors, I reconfigured my feed links. installed autodiscovery and checked that the feed URL could be detected. seemed okay. hope I was successful and I fixed the problem.

I usually surf the net and blog with the television turned on. multi-tasking, he he. it’s my way of keeping abreast with the news, documentaries or my favorite shows while indulging in my favorite activity at the same time. I don’t usually get distracted even when I am writing an article or post.
but lately this hasn’t been the case. why? because of two tv commercials that annoy me no end. one is the ad of max’s with that irritating “head” peering out of a guy’s tummy! bwisit! that’s how I can describe that ad. I usually switch channels whenever this commercial is on, or turn off the set altogether. next is the new mcdo ad with kris aquino in the pseudo deal or no deal theme. it was kris in her loudmouth best again! I just hate the sound of her voice. and she was truly OA in that commercial. looked stupid in the end.
both ads were aired several times last night as I was fiddling with my blogs settings. caused me to lose my train of thought. had to turn off the television or else I’d lose my cool.

I have finally made up my mind. I have chosen to install haloscan in my blog. though this would mean “losing” all of my previous comments, I will have the advantage of having trackbacks which, I think, is better than blogger’s backlinks (I may have a way of having both. hope my experiment with my blog’s HTML will be successful). actually, the previous comments won’t really be lost or deleted. they will still be in the blogger system although not visible on the site because haloscan’s commenting system isn’t compatible to blogger’s. who knows, a hack may be available in no time.
